- macOS Experimental screen text lookup freezes the screen for word lookup and on-device image text recognition, with a reading spotlight, selectable text, and screenshot tools for annotation, mosaic, copying, PNG export and pinning.
- Windows Experimental screen text lookup lets you freeze the screen with Ctrl+Alt+A, select accessible application text and use the screenshot tools; OCR remains disabled, so text available only in images or games cannot be recognized.
- Send feedback from the main window by choosing what worked or what needs improving, with an optional written message; unsent text stays in the window when you dismiss the form or sending fails.

- Official desktop builds prepare signed updates in the background and use them at the next launch, with more reliable handoff through existing shortcuts and no installer waiting for you when you quit.

- macOS Fixed an intermittent startup crash on macOS.
- Library and Settings now reopen and regain focus more reliably on macOS; opening the app from Finder restores the Library after you close it, and lookup panel shadows follow rounded corners correctly.
- ODE dictionary phrase links now scroll to the correct section and back, with folded content opening before the reader moves.

- Desktop AI explanations now use AALookup directly, replacing custom API-key settings; guest use remains available, local dictionaries stay readable offline or when lookups run out, and interrupted answers can be recovered without charging twice for the same lookup.
- Mobile now opens with a dedicated sign-in and dictionary setup flow; an expired session returns you to sign-in while preserving local data, and temporary network loss still permits local reading while your session is valid.
